Ok, so I've recently learned the dreaded sock! It's quite a feat when you finally understand how they make that heel work. :) I'm thrilled and hope to be making plenty of socks for my three grandkids. I have to admit, I've bought books and downloaded patterns, but everytime I read through them, I thought...nevermind. Now, there is no stopping me. Not sure if I'll be listing socks on this site as of yet, but if I do they will be for babies and children, at first. Yes sir, these are baby shoes. There are many free adorable patterns all over the web. This pattern was very pretty with the open work in front. The purple flower buttons were perfect additions to add a spark of color. I have a granddaughter arriving in January, so I'm practicing to be sure she has plenty of shoes for her outfits. Later, I'll have to start making her lacy socks and cute sundresses. I'm very excited. |
